We find this oral rinse superior to the various other "healthy" options we have used. We can use a small amount daily and we do see results with the rinse and flossing daily. Taste is refreshing as well. Our favorite is the peppermint flavor.
My dentist recommended this after I had laser periodontal work done.
I've tried two flavors -- orange, and this one Peppermint Twist -- and definitely prefer the peppermint twist. It's actually a combination of cinnamon and mint - very refreshing.
There's no alcohol in this, either. The effects are longer-lasting than other mouthwashes. It's pricier, but I find I use a lot less of this stuff, so it lasts longer than I expected. Also, it's much cheaper than what my dentist charges if I get it from him.
Overall, a good product at a decent price.
I had been looking for a product to help my gums which bled at every dental cleaning. I had been prescribed the dreaded gum rinse by my dentist, which I truly did not like and goodness, it's a drug! I picked some of the Natural Dentist Healthy Gums Daily Oral Rinse at my local health food store and was very pleasantly surprised to find it did an excellent job of returning my gums to health. My dentist noticed that my gums no longer bleed and I have a normal cleaning now at normal intervals, every 6 months as opposed to every 3 months. I gladly recommend this product.
